The process for fire risk assessments
Contact is made initially by letter and this is followed up by a telephone call to determine your interest. Should you wish to proceed with either advice or a fire risk assessment, a formal meeting will take place to establish timings and costings. A written document would be provided in respect of a fire risk assessment or where advice is sought only, a letter of confirmation will explain the advice given. The findings of a Fire Risk Assessment would be discussed on receipt with the responsible person to ensure that they are familiar with the document and that they know what to do to comply with the law.
